A Bolgatanga-based up-and-coming artiste, Pandy, has advised his colleague artistes in the Upper East Region to limit what he described as their fake lifestyle on social media, saying it has negative effects on the music industry in the region.

Pandy, whose real name is Nyaaba Apana Bobby, observed that most up-and-coming artistes usually fake their lifestyles on social media to gain public support which at the end causes a lot of harm to the music industry in the region.

In a post on his Facebook page, the Alcoholic hitmaker explained that the fake lifestyle of artistes contributes to the numerous reasons many well-meaning personalities including politicians and other industry players in the region fail to invest even in the craft.

“Artiste in upper East; it’s time to stop posting fake things on Facebook. Be real, because politicians and some DJs are now saying they cannot help us for free when you are nicely dress with a big phone example iPhone…… for me I don’t fake on Facebook yooo. #Sireku.”

Interacting with A1Radioonline.com in line with the said advice to his colleague musicians, Pandy expects artistes in the region to go beyond their lifestyles and focus on the craft.

He also hinted of plans to soon release his first album titled “The Time”.
