The Share Love Network, led by its Team Leader, Ivy Naa Odey Aryeetey has presented second-hand clothes and shoes worth thousands of cedis to residents of Varempere in the Wa West District of the Upper West Region. The donation, which brings to seven (7) the number of similar exercises undertaken by the group in the region, forms part of their core mandate.

Speaking to A1radio, Madam Aryeetey, a humanist, said it is her dream to be in a country “where all Ghanaians alike are properly clothed and fed”. While she admits that her organisation may not be able to address all the challenges, she maintained that she will do her bit in selected communities to improve the lives of the people.

The group has already visited Bihee and Sagu in the Wa Municipality, Boli, Asse, Vieri in the Wa West District, and Naro also in the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District. Madam Aryeetey explained that her group intends to visit more communities in the Upper West Region before the close of the year. She encouraged all well-meaning to pay some attention to underprivileged persons particularly, as the yuletide approaches.
