A1 Radio, a subsidiary of Agreed Best Communication Ltd in collaboration with MTN Ghana and Aqua Bolg Mineral Water in Bolgatanga is carrying out a sim re-registration exercise. The exercise is targeted at residents in the Tindonsobligo community; particularly the aged, pregnant women and persons living with some forms of disabilities.

Speaking to Samuel Mbura on Break Upper East, the General Manager of A1 Radio, William Nlanjerbor Jalulah explained that the exercise forms part of the company’s public service duty. Mr. Jalulah said the exercise for the public was decided on after a show of interest by residents within the Tindonsobligo community when a similar exercise was organised recently for staff and their families in the premises of the media company.

“We made the arrangement with MTN earlier and they came to do the re-registration for us at the office for all staff and their families. We were surprised by the number of people who we did not even know who still came to register. Then we invited Vodafone, we had the same with them and people came around to register”.
