According to him, the youth need to understand that, regardless of their background or religious affiliation and beliefs there must be tolerance.

“I will tell my fellow youth that they should see everybody as one. Whether you are a traditional believer, you are a Christian or Muslim, we are the same people. We should see each other as brothers and sisters and try to exhibit some kind of tolerance, especially, religious tolerance,” he said.

The Ahmadiyya Youth Leader, Mr. Sheriff also applauded the Diocesan Youth Council for embarking on a peace forum that seeks to bring youth from diverse backgrounds together. He pledged to share any peaceful information that will keep the youth united.

“The timing for this programme is very important. Looking at what is happening in surrounding countries and Ghana, the timing of this programme is perfect. There were a lot of things that we have learned. If I go back I will try to also dedicate time with my people. We will be having meets and I will also share with them on our WhatsApp pages,” he told A1 News in an exclusive interview.
