Jerry Asamani, the current Upper East Regional Organiser who doubles as the Regional Director for the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has confirmed his interest in the New Patriotic Party’s Regional Chairmanship race.
Mr. Asamani who has thrown his hat in the pot, is optimistic that the delegates would give him the opportunity to serve and better the fortunes of the NPP in the region.
He made the confirmation when he spoke on A1 Radio’s Day Break Upper East.
“Jerry is equally contesting the Regional Chairmanship position. I just want to take the opportunity to wish my fellow candidates God’s blessing,” he said.
Mr. Asamani called for calm ahead of the elections saying “it is always very serious during the campaign period; there are always accidents and all that. We should not let tension hold us. You go, do your campaign; come back safely”.
