UE: BT Baba hands over ultra-modern school facility to Kpaal community

Getting access to quality education in the Kpaal community in the Talensi District of the Upper East Region over the years has been a challenge among pupils in the area.

The situation has caused many schools going age not to have an interest in education for years.

Member of Parliament for the area, BT Baba has thus built and handed over a furnished ultra-modern three-unit classroom block to augment the educational infrastructure in the area.

Touching on the need for quality education and surety of the pupils, the MP indicated that basic amenities such as office space, storeroom, and toilet facilities among others were designed to ensure the comfort of the pupils.

He said, “we want this facility to not only be a learning place but a facility that will give comfort. If you are not comfortable, you can’t learn properly. That is why we pride ourselves on this facility. All the basic amenities for teachers and pupils are there, and I hope our wards will make good use of them.”

He however urged members of the community to put the school into good use so that the benefits associated with will be fully maximized in the area.

The Talensi District Director of Education, Christiana Azure Ayinzoya also noted that the project came at the right time, hence will ensure that teachers and students take their studies seriously.

She also lauded the MP for procuring ultra-modern round furniture for use hence will ensure available teachers will always be there for effective teaching and learning.

Appreciating the gesture dine them, the Chief and residents of the area, therefore, expressed their profound gratitude to the MP and assured him that the school will be put to use.
