The Talensi branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Upper East Region has prayed and asked Allah to relieve Ghanaians from the political bondage, suffocation and bad economy of this current administration.
According to the party, the governing New Patriotic Party has brought curses and pains to Ghanaians and it’s only Allah that can relieve Ghanaians from that.
“…what is more than this, if not curses and pains; take a look around what can you buy under this current economy. This government has failed us not only through the mismanagement of the economy but spiritually. So, as we observed Eid-Ul-Fitr, It is, however, our fervent hope that Almighty Allah will accept our sacrifices and prayers. We call on Allah to grant us His bountiful blessings and incalculable favours and accept our prayers offered to him and help relieve Ghanaians from the political bondage, suffocation and bad economy in the current dispensation”, the Constituency Secretary, Zinekena Solomon T.T.B noted.
Mr Zinekena made this prayer call in Talensi as they (Muslims) observed the
Eid-Ul-Fitr is a festival that marks the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan after they subjected themselves to fasting and prayers by the Holy book of the Quran.
The Secretary, however, seized the opportunity to wish all Muslims in the country especially those in the Constituency a happy Eid-Ul-Fitr.
“The NDC will encourage you to observe the occasion in moderation with full cognizance of the road safety precautionary measures and protocols to avoid accidents.”
