The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has called on residents in Northern Ghana, high grounds and the forest zones to stay alert as a heavy thunderstorm is headed towards to aforementioned areas.

“A rainstorm is expected to produce thunderstorms over the Transition Belt, Northern Sector and some places within the forest and high ground areas. Stay Safe,” the statement said.
