A letter sighted by A1radioonline.com is asking all casual workers who were asked to go home to resume their duties at the War Memorial Hospital.

Though the letter signed by the Upper East Regional Health Director of the Ghana Health Service failed to give reasons for the re-engagement of the workers, it indicated that they were “encouraged to resume their various posts”.

The Health Director, Dr Emmanuel Kofi Dzotsi when contacted on the telephone declined to speak on the matter, the letter however clarified that all temporary and casual workers who were affected by the sacking incident can resume work.

The Member of Parliament for the area, Sampson Tangombu expressed excitement over the news with a call on the workers to put in their best at their various positions.
