The Member of Parliament for the Builsa South Constituency, Dr. Clement Apaak has called on Ghanaians to tell the NPP to apologise for the gross mismanagement of the economy and the current state of the economy; one he describes as being in the ICU.

A post on the Facebook page of the Builsa South legislature read;

“Folks, tell NPP apologists to stop the nonsensical talk. Our economy is in ICU because of gross mismanagement.”

“Is Ghana the only nation affected by COVID? Is Ghana the only nation impacted by the Russian/Ukraine war? How come Togo, Burkina, Nigeria, Ivory Coast have not gone to IMF. Wait, they are in Jupiter right?”

“Rather than show remorse and to apologise for the gargantuan mess they have created, which has caused hardship, bound to exacerbate, they still have the impudence to parry blame.”

His post comes after the government decided to seek funds from the IMF to support its economic programme.
