Iddrisu Musah, popularly referred to as Musah Superior, a New Patriotic Party (NPP) General Secretary aspirant has today, Tuesday, July 5, 2022, exuded confidence in winning the upcoming National Executive election by a 70 percent margin.

Mr. Musah, a former Metropolitan Chief Executive of Tamale said on A1 Radio’s Day Break Upper East Show that he took a decision to contest for the General Secretary position on December 14, 2021, and expressed confidence in getting a strong win.

“I’m confident that I can win this election by 70 percent. The reason why I believe I will have a strong win is because of the response of our party people and my policy initiatives.”

According to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Commission, he has well-formulated policy initiatives to address the huge challenges of the party adding that party folks are exhilarated that there is a very outspoken person like him touching on the issues.

He said his colleague contenders are not prepared for the position because they have been running away from his challenge to have a debate.

“Why is it that on several occasions I’ve asked that we have a debate and nobody is willing to respond positively? It tells you that they’re unprepared.”

Musah Superior said the party people are looking for somebody who would lay out a platform of optimism for the party.

“The picture is very gloomy, people are not happy, there’s so much acrimony in the party all because there hasn’t been any plan by this party to support our party people,” he added.
