Augustine Guure, a Regional Communications Teams Member of the National Democratic Congress is prepping himself to contest for the Talensi Constituency Secretary position as the NDC seeks to elect new executives to handle the affairs of the part a branch, ward, constituency, regional and national levels.
Mr. Guure made this declaration on A1 Radio’s Day Break Upper East Show.
He explained that the time is ripe to throw his hat into the contest and win the election to bring to bear, his experience.
“After this [the branch elections], our next is the ward coordinators. Then after that, we move to the constituency level elections which I have the intention to contest. I am hoping to contest for the constituency secretary.”
“Contesting is not a new thing for me. I have held elected positions before but that was earlier, when I was much younger. In 2014, I was the Constituency Executive Directorate. I tried going back in 2018 for the organiser position but I could not make it. This time round, I am hopeful of making it to the constituency secretary position,” he said.
Mr. Guure commended those who contested the ward elections in the Talensi Constituency for comforting themselves and ensuring a peaceful election.
