President Akufo-Addo, as part of his tour to the Upper East Region, has commissioned the Upper East Water Supply project for use.
The completed project began in 2018 by the Belgian company Denys and is expected to treat 20,500m3 of water per day for 350,000 residents in the region.
The project gained its financing from Internationale Nederlanden Groep (ING) of Belgium, an international bancassurance financial institution of Dutch origin.
