Happy Man Beverages launches Miss Trade Ghana in Upper East Region

Happy Man Beverages, a subsidiary of charger limited, has launched Miss Trade Ghana in the Upper East Region.

Miss Trade Ghana is expected to aid young women to exhibit their business talents.

Speaking at the launch in Bolgatanga, Mashwel Ndego, the Executive Director and Organizer of Miss Trade Ghana said the programme is to offer a platform for young women to enhance their entrepreneurial skills.

According to him, at the end of the final exhibition, the winner would be given Ghc10,000 to support their existing business.

“Miss Trade Ghana is a flagship platform for young women who have business ideas or are into small-scale businesses and want to go higher and need startup capital.”

“We are organizing the programme to train them. Most at time, entrepreneurs find it difficult to get training. Other times, getting access to training is also a challenge. We are working with other state institutions and private corporate organization to be able to give them the training.”

Mr. Ndego further stated that “after the training and everything they are supposed explain their business likewise they are also supposed to showcase talent and their culture because as a business woman you have a culture and a talent so you have to showcase them. And at the end of the day, the winner of this reality show will take Ghc10,000.00 to start up her business.”

Females of 18 years of age and blessed with business ideas and are residents of the Upper East Region can visit all social media platforms names ‘Miss Trade Ghana’ for registration details.

First Female paramount Chief of Kape, Kape Awopoli Awampaga I in the Paga Traditional area who chaired the launch of Miss Trade Ghana Upper East, encouraged ladies in the region to take the programme as an opportunity and bring out their business ideas in order to get people to buy into those ideas and give them the needed support grow and develop the region.
