Alfred Awuni, the incumbent Constituency Youth Organizer for the Bongo constituency has hinted he will be contesting the seat again.
He said the decision has been arrived at due to the incessant calls for him to continue in the same position he is currently occupying.
Mr. Awuni made this revelation when spoke on the A1 Radio’s Critical Issues programme.
“As to whether I will go or not, Yes, I can say that some of the youth organizers who are very close to me have actually started asking that God’s willing I should go back. And some of them have made categorical statements that if I don’t go, they won’t agree.”
“So, I think that God willing, it shall be well. We are only hoping for the day to come and we will see what we can do.”
Mr. Alfred Awuni commented that the ongoing reorganization exercise being carried out by the NDC and said in his area, the exercise had been hassle-free.
