The Member of Parliament for Binduri, Abdulai Abanga has given the assurance that each community in the 13 electoral areas in his constituency will be provided with boreholes.

“Yes, it was part of my 2020 election campaign promises,” he said. In keeping faith with the constituency, the MP has begun drilling boreholes in communities within the constituency. Mr. Abanga’s target is for ‘every 10-15 households to get a borehole.”

According to him, growing up in the area access to potable water was a challenge to many hence the need to provide many boreholes.

Speaking on A1 Radio, the MP said the honour done him by his constituents to represent them at the national level was something he will forever be grateful for.

“My people, my constituents, have entrusted me [with the opportunity] to represent them, to be their MP, and I can’t be grateful enough without meeting their needs. and I know potable water is one of the things that will make their lives comfortable.”

“I remember those days where getting potable water was hell on earth. So, I vowed to myself that if I became an MP, those struggles will be a thing of the past. So, I used my personal resources to purchase this drilling rig to begin providing each community without means of water, the needed potable water they deserve.”
