Lambert Akunzebe has thrown his heart in for consideration for the Assistant Bolgatanga Constituency Secretary position as the processes for the constituency level elections, as part of the NDC’s reorganisation process continues.
Speaking on the Day Break Upper East Show, Mr. Akuzebe explained that he’s put himself up for consideration because he believes in his capacity to work to ensure the party recaptures power at the 2024 general election.
“The secretary is the administrator and engine of the party at the constituency level. For you to be secretary of the party, you need someone who is dynamic, a good listener, a team player, as well as goal and development-oriented. You need someone who has these to occupy the position,” he said.
Additionally, Mr. Akunzebe said, “as a secretary, it is your responsibility to go to all the 149 branches within the bolga constituency. For you to do this, you need someone to complement your position. I think that I stand in a better position to complement the secretary of the Bolgatanga Constituency Secretary to see how we can reorganise the party, and put the party in a better place. A party that will be ready to take power from this NPP government.”
The new entrant insisted, “I am the right person. That is why I am putting myself up as a human resource for the people of the Bolga central constituency.”
Mr. Akunzebe believes that he is in a position to do better than his predecessor.
