The founder and President of the Tangoba Legends School (TLS), Madam Tangoba Abayaga has said the purpose for the establishment of the school is to build future leaders in the Upper East Region.
TLS is a newly established preschool at Yikene in the Bolgatanga Municipality of the Upper East Region.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the founder and President of TLS Madam Tangoba Abayaga noted that the school aims at providing children in the region with the best of training in all areas of life.
According to Madam Abayage, every child deserves to have quality training and education that will make him or her a better person in future and that is what TLS stands for.
“As I keep indicating, this school for now is a preschool. The intention is to bring out the best of the children who will pass through here and that they will get the opportunity to learn, play and grow. We will give them the opportunity to explore all avenues.”
“And they will do it in such a playful and harmonious manner that they imbibe in all the educational qualities that we need to get children to imbibe in. Our hope and our target is that we will build legends out of the Upper East Region for our future purposes.”
The Upper East Regional Chairman of the Ghana National association of Private schools, Hajj Bukari has expressed excitement for the establishment of TLS in addition to private schools in the region.
The Tangoba Legends School has since opened admissions into creche, nursery and primary one.
