Sunday Casper Kampoli, the outgoing Deputy Regional Communications Officer of the NDC has has declared his interest in contesting for the Regional Communications Officer position for the NDC in the Upper East Region.

In a statement signed by Mr. Kampoli and copied to this website, he wrote, “comrades, for the past four years that I have served you in the capacity as your Deputy Regional Communication Officer, we chalked the following successes together: I have led an army of communicators across the 15 Constituencies to project the NDC and its superior record in the Upper East Region. [I have] led an army of passionate communicators to explain the life-changing policies of ‘The Peoples Manifesto’ to the good people of the Upper East Region. This contributed immensely to the NDC’s impressive performance in the 2020 elections, winning 14 seats out of the 15 Parliamentary seats in the Region.”

He continued to say that “through the weekly paneling of communicators, I have built a Regional Communication Bureau with membership across the 15 Constituencies. This team of committed and eloquent communicators is always at hand to expose the ineptitude, corruption, cluelessness and nepotism of the Akufo-Addo Bawumia/NPP govemment.”

Mr. Campoli explained that in his former role as the Deputy Regional Communications Director, he had accumulated experience that was irreplaceable. When offered the opportunity to lead the party’s regional communication team, these fresh experiences would be useful.

“Comrades, under the able leadership and tutelage of the genius Sammy Gyamfi Esq. (National Communication Officer, NDC). I have had the privilege of participating in several political communication workshops and seminars to build my capacity for this position to lead the political communication activities of the NDC in the Region, as we seek to win all the 15 Parliamentary seats in the region.”

“Comrades, the 2024 election requires perfection in every aspect of our political strategy to win against the New Patriotic Party which is determined to hold unto power at all cost, despite their underwhelming performance in office. I therefore entreat you to give me your mandate to build and lead a robust, strategic and purposeful political communication outfit to help make the agenda 15/15 a reality!”
