The sixth edition of the ‘Let’s Go Hiking @ Tongo Hills’ has been scheduled to take place on October 29, 2022.
The exercise’s purpose is to promote tourism and bring attention to the Tongo Hills’ breathtaking scenery.
The event is anticipated to facilitate networking opportunities, as well as providing a method of physical activity and adventure. This is according to Timothy Nsoh, one of the organisers of the exercise. He said this when he spoke to A1 Radio.
The previous edition drew close to a hundred participants. Mr Nsoh was hopeful that the 2022 editions would draw an even bigger crowd.
“Our main starting point is usually the Talensi Assembly Block but we might change the starting point this time around. The route will be communicated soon. We are still working with our tour guides on the route this time around.”
“The hiking is totally free, however one has to provide transportation to venue. Meeting point in Bolga is Atogfai base opposite SA Marcarthy Trading close to Abole junction. Time is 6:00am,” he said.
