Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association, Alhaji Raji has indicated that finalist for the maiden edition of the FirsTrust G6 tournament to be held in the Western Region will get GH¢30,000 each.
Alhaji Raji made this disclosure in an interview with A1 Radio on Wednesday.
He mentioned that each participating team had already been paid GH¢20,000 in order to aid them participate.
He added that, an extra GH¢ 10,000 will be given to the two teams that will make it to the final of the tournament.
“All the six teams participating have been given twenty thousand cedis and the teams that will make it to the finals will be given an additional ten thousand cedis. We have settled everything so no team will come after the tournament to demand for their money.”
The FirsTrust G6 is a pre-season tournament to provide local teams with the platform to prepare their teams for the upcoming season and also to test new recruits the teams have added to their fold.
The tournament which will kick start on Thursday at the Esipong Stadium in Takoradi will feature six of the top clubs in the country in an innovative one stadium housed football competition that will last for four days.
