Former Upper East Regional Minister, Tangoba Abayage has sent a rather cryptic message to some personalities within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) within the Upper East Region.

In a short message on her official Facebook page, she reminded politicians to have sober hearts and minds and not rejoice over the pain of others.

“I’m told there have been some casualties at the NDC Upper East Regional Elections. Well, it’s normal with elections. It also teaches us to be humble, a bit, in dealing with people when playing politics.”

“Let’s have sober hearts and minds. Let’s attack issues and not human beings. I’ll not rejoice over their pain, like they did mine,”she said.

The Founder and Proprietor of the Tangoba Legends School continued to say, “I’ll only hope that when they rise on their feet: and they sure will, they’ll learn to know that we are after all human and need shoulders (devoid of political colours) to hang on, when need be. Congratulations to winners and may you lift the bar of political discourse in the Region.”
