Philantropist builds ICT lab for Kanjarga JHS

The Kanjarga Junior High School in the Builsa South District has received a fully furnished ICT Centre from the Dr. Ben Issaka, a son of the soil based abroad. 

Speaking during a short ribbon cutting ceremony to hand over the project to the school, the District Chief Executive of the area, Daniel Kwame Gariba on behalf of the Management of the District, was very grateful for the kind gesture and the timely support. Adding that this falls in line with the vice president’s aim of creating an enabling environment for technology to thrive.  

Daniel Kwame Gariba, further encouraged the teachers and students to ensure that they should inculcate a proper maintenance culture. 

The Chief of the area, Naab Akanjianya Akanfela on behalf of the community, expressed his appreciation for the project which he believes will expose children of his community to the new age of Information and Communication Technology. 

Dr. Mohammed Ben Issaka, in a brief interaction said it was a delight to have been able to complete a project he believed would offer opportunities for students to catch up with the evolving world. He added that an opportunity to give back to his community was a dream come through.

The ICT Centre is fully furnished with 15 computers and a projector.
