It is unusual to see or hear acts in the entertainment industry publicly express their regrets after leaving a record company.

Starkhid Xikolo, an artiste residing in the Upper East Region, openly voiced his remorse for leaving his former record label, DownTown Records, via Facebook.

He took to Facebook and wrote, “I keep on regretting losing a good and humble manager like CEO of #DOWNTOWN_RECORDS #MR_ROY. He was kind to me, I never thought of leaving the label, and I really miss my label mate, LOD-CYPID and the whole team. I wish I was still working with you MR-ROY.”

Strakhid Xikolo was signed under the record for a period and for reasons unknown, left the record label suddenly.

We are still keeping our fingers crossed for a response from Roy Lambert (CEO Downtown Records) on what he has to say, however we wish Starkhid Xikolo the best of luck in his career.
