Since time immemorial, residents of the Upper Upper East have traveled to either Tamale, Kumasi, or Accra for servicing or the purchase of generator sets. The situation then was not only stressful, but it also came with a lot of costs to transport the generator sets.

The situation that was affecting businesses in the region anytime there was a power cut from the national grid will now be a thing of the past following the opening of the Bolgatanga branch of Anointed Electrical Engineering Services Limited.

Managing Director of the company, Samuel Adjei Boateng, said business owners and institutions in the Upper East Region will heave a sigh of relief since the Bolgatanga branch will offer the same price and services as it does in other branches across the country. He said Anointed Electrical Engineering Services Limited’s prices and services are affordable and meet the needs of residents of the region.

“Today, Anointed Electricals is here, and you don’t need to go to Tamale, Accra, or Kumasi to buy generators. We are here to give you the same price, and you don’t need to worry about transportation. We don’t rely on any engineer or technician from Accra, Tamale, or Kumasi to come to Bolga, we have the technical support in Bolga.”

Mr. Adjei mentioned the sale of gensets, servicing, rental of gensets, and sale of genuine spare parts as some of the services the company offers the public.

He was speaking to the media during the opening ceremony of the Bolgatanga branch of the company. Mr. Adjei revealed that the generator experts are offering a 10 percent discount on generators sold in the region. The Managing Director pleaded the company’s commitment to providing the best of services to hoteliers, bankers, hospitals,  shop owners and managers, and the public.

The Bolgatanga branch, which is located at the Frimps Filling Station on the main Bolga-Tamale Road, would serve the Upper East Region and the North East Region.

The Managing Director of Anointed Electrical Engineering Services Limited, Samuel Adjei Boateng, added that the company has a school located in Accra and Kumasi that offers practical training for people who are interested in acquiring knowledge in the repair of gensets.

The Head of Branch Network at Anointed Electrical Engineering Services Limited, Joyce Nuamah-Saka said the establishment of the company in the region will serve as a solution to power issues.

“We are in the rainy season, and during the rainy season, anything can happen. Thunder, and windstorms will spoil things, and electricity can go off at anything. And when that happens, you have to rely on your alternative power source, which is the generator.

She said the establishment of Anointed Electrical Engineering Services Limited in the region would create jobs for the residents, saying, “We don’t have to bring people all the way from Accra or Kumasi to come and work here. We have equally good people here in Bolga that can do the jobs even if they need to be trained.”
