National Service personnel in the Bolgatanga East District and Bolgatanga Municipality of the Upper East Region had expressed some dissatisfaction over the delay in payments of their allowances.
As such, NSS personnel have given the National Service Secretariat until Monday, August 21, 2023 to pay the allowances or face their wrath.
This was contained in a statement signed by the President of the Bolgatanga Municipal and East District NASPA executive committees, Charles Anyore, and copied to this website, on behalf of the personnel.
“The Bolgatanga Municipal and East District NASPA executive committees share dissatisfaction with the delay in payment of our allowance. We have worked tirelessly to resolve this issue, but to no avail. We, the executives, would want to draw to your attention that if we are not paid by Monday, August 21, 2023, we will launch a series of steps to demand that the allowance be paid without undue delay. Once again, we share the frustration that our authorities’ ill faith has generated. We are all in this together,” the statement read.
