The Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Talensi Constituency, Daniel Mahama, has urged all polling station executives in the area to reconcile any differences and unite for the upcoming 2024 elections.

According to him, a united front is not only desirable but also essential to achieving the ambitious voter target of 45,000 votes in the Talensi Constituency.

Mr. Mahama, addressing the 96 polling station executives at the Gbeogo School for the Deaf on December 27, 2023, underscored the need for compromise and collaboration, stating that a divided party significantly weakens its chances in the electoral arena.

“I would like to urge all of you to work hard. Let us focus on how we can attain the 45,000 voter target in the upcoming elections for the party. We must win this seat, and to do so, it will take our united efforts to achieve it. So, I call on all of us to reconcile any differences and unite for the upcoming 2024 elections.”

He stressed that a cohesive party not only enhances its chances in the electoral arena but also projects a formidable image to the electorate, instilling confidence and garnering support.

Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming mandate received during the parliamentary primaries, Mr. Mahama assured them that he would work hard with them to achieve a resounding victory in the 2024 elections.

“I want to thank all of you for the trust bestowed upon me during the parliamentary primaries. As I said, with collective efforts, we will win the seat in the 2024 elections.”

He also paid tribute to the Member of Parliament, B. T. Baba, and the former MP, Hon. John Akologu Tia, for their towering contributions to the development of the constituency.

He, therefore, vowed to carry the torch forward and champion the interests of the Talensi Constituency with unwavering dedication.

Some of the constituency executives who were present at the gathering reinforced the need for teamwork to retain the seat and deliver at least 85% of the popular votes for the party.
