Lawyer James Agalga, Member of Parliament for Builsa North in the Upper East Region, has criticized the Upper East Regional Minister, Stephen Yakubu, accusing him of monumental failures and a consistent disrespect for punctuality.

Lawyer Agalga expressed his frustration at the Minister’s chronic tardiness during a Health Walk event organized by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) branch executives in the Builsa North constituency.

According to Lawyer Agalga, the Upper East Regional Minister’s habitual disregard for scheduled functions has adversely affected the progress and development of the Upper East Region.

He pointed out that the Minister’s lack of punctuality not only reflects poorly on his leadership but also hinders the region’s growth initiatives.

“They do not respect time as a political party, and the regional minister does not respect time. The last time they invited him to a function in Builsa North, he arrived very late, not once but twice. Such behavior—how can it contribute to the growth of the region?” questioned Agalga.

The outspoken MP did not mince words in expressing his disappointment with the Minister’s attitude, emphasizing the negative impact it has on the overall development of the region.

He argued that the timely execution of programs and functions is crucial for fostering progress in the area.

The Health Walk event, organized by the NDC branch executives, aimed to promote unity among party members in the Builsa North constituency.

Touching on the health walk, Lawyer Agalga indicated that it would help rebrand and build shared unity among the members of the NDC in the area.
