The aide to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the Bolgatanga Central Constituency, Michael Adombire Atinga, has launched a scathing critique of the current Member of Parliament (MP), Isaac Adongo, accusing the MP of lacking the necessary vision and commitment to foster development within the constituency.

“He has retrogressed the growth of the Bolgatanga Central constituency. He doesn’t have the locus of thought to bring any development to the area except for his own growth. Look around, his colleague members of parliament are doing massively well in their constituencies. Isaac Adongo does not believe in the development of the constituents. Figo is the only man who can realize the development of this area.”

Mr. Atinga emphasized the need for change, urging constituents to consider the potential benefits of electing the NPP candidate, Mr. Awonekai (Figo), in the upcoming December 7 elections.

According to him, Adongo’s tenure has failed to deliver tangible improvements for the people of Bolgatanga Central, making it imperative to elect a representative who prioritizes local development.

“Just mention one single thing that he has facilitated for the growth of this constituency. It is sad. It is time for the Constituency to also witness some level of growth, and I think Figo is the one who can do that.”

He highlighted the achievements of other MPs as a benchmark for what he believes could be accomplished in Bolgatanga Central under new leadership.

“His own colleague MPs are doing well, and I will not sit here to mention names, but we know them, even in the Upper East here, Abdulai Abanga from the Binduri Constituency is doing well. His own NDC MPs are doing well, why can’t he?”

He portrayed Mr. Awonekai as a visionary candidate dedicated to the progress and prosperity of the constituency.

“Figo is the only man who can realize the development of this area,” Mr. Atinga reiterated, calling on voters to support Mr. Awonekai for a chance to see real change and advancement.
