The Rapid Response Unit for Dr. Mahammud Bawumia (RRU4DBM), as part of efforts to empower and uplift female students at various tertiary institutions, has provided 200 packages of sanitary products to Tescon members across three tertiary institutions in the region.
The beneficiaries of this thoughtful initiative include students from Zuarungu Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Navrongo Community Nursing Training College, and C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences (CKT-UTAS).
The distribution of these much-needed supplies aims to support female Tescon members in observing and celebrating the menstrual month with dignity and comfort.
Expressing their gratitude, the recipient students conveyed heartfelt thanks to the RPU4DBM team for their timely support.
Many remarked that the assistance provided significant relief, easing the financial burden associated with menstrual hygiene for some of them.
In addition to the tangible aid, the RRU4DBM team, representing the founder, Ing. Filson Awankua, reiterated their commitment to providing further support should the party retain power.
Their continued assistance underscores a dedication to the welfare and empowerment of the youth within the region.
Furthermore, the RRU4DBM team encouraged Tescon members to actively engage in issue-based campaigning within their campuses.
Emphasizing the importance of education alongside political participation, they urged students to remain committed to their studies while championing their political beliefs.
