“I’m providing water and snacks for the duration of the exam for 1,896 candidates and 50 supervisors and invigilators throughout the constituency,” Mr. Achuliwor stated.
Speaking to A1 Radio, Mr. Achuliwor urged all candidates to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations governing the exams to avoid any cancellations or other issues.
“This is a crucial stage in your lives, and I have no doubt that you will all come out with flying colors, given your level of preparation, hard work, and determination,” he said.
Among the 1,896 candidates, 1,010 are girls, and 886 are boys.
Mr. Achuliwor further commended the candidates for their hard work and preparation, and he also praised the government for its free basic education policy, which has improved access to education and student performance in the BECE.
He reminded them of the significance of the BECE, describing it as the first major test in their academic lives and a critical step in shaping their futures.
“This examination is part of the processes that will determine the future you will build for yourselves,” he noted.
