The leader and founder of the All People’s Congress (APC), Dr. Hassan Ayariga, has once again emphasized his six-point agenda aimed at propelling Ghana’s growth and development.

Speaking as the special guest of honor at the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) in Kumasi Ashanti Mampong, Dr. Ayariga laid out his vision for the country if elected as president in the upcoming December 7th elections.

Addressing a gathering of students, staff, and chiefs, Dr. Ayariga highlighted the necessity of implementing a strong National Data System to accurately track and manage the country’s resources and demographics. He argued that without reliable data, effective governance and planning would be impossible.

He further outlined the need for a National Development Plan that transcends political cycles, ensuring long-term projects and policies that will benefit future generations. This plan, he emphasized, should be immune to changes in government, allowing for continuity and sustained growth.

Another key point in his vision is the concept of Economic Lockdown Production. Dr. Ayariga believes that by focusing on local production, Ghana can reduce its dependence on imports, stabilize its economy, and create jobs. Complementing this is his proposal to establish Ghana as a Manufacturing and Industrial Hub, leveraging the country’s resources and strategic location to attract investments and boost industrialization.

Dr. Ayariga also advocated for the introduction of a 24-hour, 3-Shift System in both public and private sectors, aimed at increasing productivity and maximizing the use of resources and infrastructure.

Additionally, he proposed the creation of a Graduate Financing Fund to support young entrepreneurs and recent graduates, enabling them to start businesses and contribute to the country’s economic growth.

Dr. Ayariga, therefore, urged the students to adopt a culture of learning, discipline, and a mindset geared towards innovation and progress, stressing that the youth are the backbone of the nation’s future.
