President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has commissioned Phase 3 of the Upper East Regional Hospital project.
At the ceremony in Bolgatanga, Upper East Regional capital, President Akufo-Addo reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing quality healthcare services to all Ghanaians, particularly in underserved regions.
He expressed gratitude to the Saudi Fund for Development for their support.
Projects completed under phase 3 are a modern mortuary block, accommodation for doctors, a relative hostel, and a medical gas building, a fence wall, a state-of-the-art kitchen, a Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD), and a laundry facility.
The President noted that the additions would improve patient healthcare and reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring that all regional hospitals are equipped with the necessary infrastructure and resources to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
