Dr. Bernard Oko Boye, the Minister of Health, has revealed that three out of the eight Agenda 111 hospitals planned under the current government’s initiative will be completed and operational before the December 7th elections.

This pledge, he said, highlights the government’s commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery in the region and underscores President Akufo-Addo’s vision of improving access to quality medical services for all Ghanaians.

The Agenda 111 program is a flagship project of the current administration, designed to modernize and expand Ghana’s healthcare system. By bringing state-of-the-art medical facilities closer to underserved communities, the initiative seeks to reduce the burden on existing hospitals and provide more equitable healthcare access.

The completion of these hospitals is expected to significantly impact the quality of care available in the Upper East Region, offering residents better access to medical services and potentially transforming healthcare delivery in the area.

Dr. Oko Boye made this statement during the recent commissioning of Phase 3 of the Upper East Regional Hospital project.
