The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the People’s National Convention (PNC) and Secretary to the Vetting and Congress Committees of the party, Siba Salifu Shakibu, has expressed disappointment in Ghanaian voters for their persistent focus on the two dominant political parties—the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP)—while neglecting the PNC.
According to Mr. Shakibu, the PNC has consistently presented visions and mandates aimed at addressing the country’s development challenges and improving the lives of its citizens. Despite these efforts, he lamented that voters have not recognized the party’s potential and have not entrusted it with the mandate to govern.
Speaking on A1 Radio during a discussion on the party’s recent congress, Mr. Shakibu urged voters to remember the PNC’s contributions to the nation’s development and to consider the party as a viable alternative in the upcoming December 7th elections.
He emphasized that the PNC has a track record of positive impact on the country. He called on the electorate to look beyond the two-party system and give the PNC a chance to lead the nation toward a more inclusive and sustainable future.
