Bernard Mornah, the National Chairman and flagbearer hopeful of the People’s National Convention (PNC), has confidently described himself as the candidate with “swag” in the upcoming December election, should he be elected as the party’s candidate.

In an interview with A1 News during the PNC’s Upper East regional congress in Bolgatanga, Mr. Mornah asserted that his charisma and appeal set him apart from NDC’s John Mahama and NPP’s Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, whom he claimed lack “swag.”

As the PNC prepares to elect its National Executives and flagbearer on August 31, 2024, Mr. Mornah declared himself the next president of Ghana. He expressed optimism about the PNC’s chances of winning the December 7 election, believing that his unique blend of leadership qualities, vision, and style will resonate with voters and lead the PNC to victory.

“I have a swag that the two of them [Mahama and Bawumia] don’t have, and therefore I don’t see them as a contest. All I am saying is that I am in their midst, and I will push them aside. The goal post is there, and we will score and win in 2024. That’s why I have no doubt about defeating them,” he said.

The PNC’s National Chairman also boasted of his readiness to debate any of the flagbearers seeking election on issues related to the economy and governance. Mr. Mornah described himself as fully equipped to lead Ghana in such debates.
