All is set for the 3rd Upper East Regional GJA Awards in the Bolgatanga East District of the Upper East Region.
The event will be held at the Blue Sky Hotel, a partner institution, at 6:30 p.m. today. When the Upper East Regional Chairman of the Ghana Journalists Association, William Nlanjerbor Jalulah, spoke on A1 Radio’s Day Break Upper East Show, he mentioned that nine journalists had been nominated across 15 categories.
Meanwhile, three journalists from A1 Radio, a subsidiary of Agreed Best Communication Company, have been nominated for the 3rd Upper East GJA Awards. They are: Head of News, Joshua Asaah; Head of Sports, Humul Khrusum Tahiru; and Executive Producer of the Day Break Upper East Show, Moses Apiah.

– Anthony Apubeo Adongo, Ghana News Agency

The Tongraan Kugbilsong Nanlebtang, Paramount Chief of the Talensi Traditional Area and Regional Patron of the GJA, will be present at the ceremony. Also in attendance will be the President of the GJA, Albert Dwumfuor, and Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih, Upper East Regional Minister.
Partners of the program include Feed the Future Ghana Policy Link Activity, the SHARE Project, AfriKids, Silas Amoah Foundation, Blue Sky Hotel, Cardinal Namdini, Youth Harvest Foundation, Earl International, and the Upper East Regional Coordinating Council.
