Simon Aworigo, the Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for the Navrongo Central constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called for unity among supporters and constituency executives as a crucial step toward securing the parliamentary seat in the upcoming elections.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the party’s campaign team, Aworigo emphasized the importance of solidarity for the strength and development of both the party and its members.
The newly inaugurated campaign team comprises past and present constituency executives, as well as Assembly members, tasked with leading the party’s efforts to reclaim the Navrongo Central seat.
Aworigo urged every member of the NDC in the area to become a “self-campaign team,” actively promoting the party’s policies and highlighting the values and plans the NDC has for the people of Ghana.
“Unity is the bedrock of our strength,” Aworigo stressed, adding that it is essential for ensuring a successful campaign and ultimately delivering the parliamentary seat for the NDC.
He reiterated that, beyond promoting party policies, supporters must showcase the broader vision of the NDC to improve the lives of Ghanaians.
Several regional and national executives of the party, who were present at the ceremony, echoed Aworigo’s sentiments, urging party members to work together harmoniously.
They stressed that internal cohesion is key to securing victory in the elections and that all members must prioritize the party’s interests over personal differences.
The inauguration ceremony marked the start of a focused and united campaign effort, with the NDC setting its sights on winning the Navrongo Central constituency.
