The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has issued a notice for an Emergency General Meeting (EGM) in accordance with Article 35(a)(i) and (b)(i)(iii) of the GJA Constitution 2004.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Ghana International Press Centre in Accra on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
The agenda for the EGM will include a review of the General Secretary’s Annual Report for 2023, a discussion of the audited accounts of the Association for the 2022–2023 period presented by the National Treasurer, and any other relevant business.
The meeting is open to all GJA members in good standing. This was contained in a statement signed by General Secretary, Kofi Yeboah.
GJA members are reminded to mark their calendars and ensure their attendance at the meeting, as significant issues regarding the Association’s financial and operational status will be addressed.
