The Member of Parliament for Nabdam Constituency, Dr. Mark-Kurt Nawaane, has extended financial support to 229 tertiary students from his constituency.

Each beneficiary received GH¢500.00 to assist with their academic expenses, particularly for settling part of their school fees.

Dr. Nawaane explained the motivation behind the gesture, noting that the support was aimed at students who were unable to return to school after reopening due to financial difficulties.

“I have financially assisted 229 students to settle part of their school fees. This assistance targeted students who could not report to school after reopening due to financial challenges. To God be the glory,” he said.

Dr. Nawaane emphasized the importance of education in transforming lives and urged the beneficiaries to remain focused and committed to their studies.

He encouraged them to make the most of this opportunity by working hard to achieve academic excellence.

Some of the students expressed their gratitude for the MP’s generosity, noting that the financial assistance had significantly alleviated their stress.

“This will help us concentrate better on our studies,” one student remarked, appreciating the MP’s intervention.

The initiative is part of Dr. Nawaane’s broader efforts to improve education in the Nabdam constituency, which has seen various forms of assistance provided to students in need.

This financial aid is expected to ease the burden on both students and their families, allowing the recipients to focus on their academic pursuits without the constant worry of financial strain.
