A newly inaugurated group known as the “NDC Ladies Force Group” in the Upper East Region has pledged to work diligently to ensure the National Democratic Congress (NDC) wins the upcoming December 7 general elections.

Led by dynamic and passionate leaders, the NDC Ladies Force Group aims to mobilize support, educate voters, and promote the NDC’s vision for a better Ghana. According to the Founder and President, Mauricia Adaabre, the group’s commitment is inspired by the party’s values of equality, justice, and progress.

“The NDC Ladies Force has been established to further and complement the political activities of the NDC in this region. We are a force of unity, strength, and determination, committed to upholding the values and principles that our great party stands for. Our mission is clear: to contribute to the advancement of the NDC by empowering women, fostering inclusivity, and working tirelessly to ensure that our party remains a beacon of hope for all Ghanaians.”

“We are here to support the efforts of our party at all levels. We recognize that the role of women in politics is indispensable. Our contributions are not just necessary but vital for the growth and success of the NDC. Through our collective efforts, we aim to galvanize support, mobilize resources, and inspire our communities to rally behind our shared vision for a prosperous and equitable Ghana.”

Joyce Bazaadut, Vice President of the group, said they will focus on women at the grassroots level by ensuring they understand the NDC manifesto and the importance of voting for the party. According to her, the women’s bank that the party intends to establish will be a significant boost for women, and they will shed more light on it.

The Upper East Regional Women Organizer, Fawzia Abagnamah Yakubu, and the Bolgatanga Central Constituency Women Organizer, Theresa Anamoo, applauded the group and its leadership for their commitment to working for the party. They used the opportunity to call on the group to focus on their efforts and to be tolerant of each other’s views, which they believe will make the group attractive and valuable.

Among the other regional and constituency executives of the NDC who attended the launch of the group, many endorsed it and expressed their commitment to supporting them. They also urged the group to remain united and to make the NDC proud.
