The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Upper East Regional Communication Directorate has expressed its support for the National Council’s establishment of a 12-member committee to review the party’s performance in the recently concluded elections.
In a statement signed by Upper East Regional Communication Director, Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga, the Directorate described the move as a demonstration of the party’s commitment to introspection, learning, and rebuilding for the future.
The Directorate commended the inclusion of Abanga Abdulai, the Member of Parliament for Binduri and the sole NPP MP from the Upper East Region in Ghana’s 8th Parliament. Mr. Abanga’s appointment to the committee was hailed as recognition of his dedication, expertise, and steadfast service to the party and the people of the Upper East Region.
“We are confident in the caliber and competence of the personalities on this committee,” the statement read. “We are particularly optimistic that Hon. Abanga will bring invaluable insights and contributions that will shape the committee’s recommendations for the greater good of the party.”
The NPP in the Upper East Region pledged its full support for the initiative and expressed hope that the committee’s findings would help the party emerge stronger and better prepared for future electoral successes.
