SamAiam, a Ghanaian musician and philanthropist, has taken it upon himself to support talented, committed, determined, and hardworking footballers across the Upper East Region to develop their careers and help them move to other clubs within Ghana and beyond.
The California-based artist, who has been hosting the “Asaa Music Festival” in Bolgatanga, the Upper East Regional Capital, will soon embark on a regional tour. Along with his team, he will visit tournaments across the region to scout for talented players.
Having a football background himself, SamAiam understands the challenges local players—especially those from the region—face in finding good managers and advancing their careers.
A press statement signed by his Public Relations Officer, David Azure, noted that “the aim is to support talented players and provide them with the opportunity to excel.”
To achieve this, SamAiam is available at any given time to offer his support and is therefore calling on football lovers, coaches, organizers, local clubs, and tournament organizers across the region to collaborate with him and his team.
Aside from music, SamAiam is passionate about football. As part of his commitment to giving back to society, he included a football tournament in the 3rd edition of the “Asaa Music Festival 2025,” where the Gambibgo community emerged victorious.
With his main goal of supporting talented footballers, SamAiam and his team are urging the general public—especially tournament organizers within the region—to keep them informed of upcoming tournaments. This will afford them the opportunity to scout, watch, and identify talented players whom they can support to achieve their dreams.
Doing his utmost best, SamAiam believes that by offering his support to these local players, they will grow and make the region proud.
