Isaac Adongo to spearhead construction of key roads in Bolgatanga

The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central Constituency, Isaac Adongo, has announced plans to lead the construction of major roads in the Bolgatanga Municipality.

The roads earmarked for construction include the Ojam Road, stretching 5km from Tindonsobligo (Uradep Village) to the Kalbeo CHPS compound toward Basengo; and the Ex-Tee Hotel Road, spanning 2.3km to the Kalbeo Chief Palace Junction. Another key road project involves upgrading the Kulbia Primary School road up to Yebongo Primary School, which covers a distance of 5.65km.

According to Job Aboyom, the Bolgatanga Central NDC Communication Officer, the construction of these roads is a top priority for the MP. Speaking on Bolga FM’s Zina Yela show, Mr. Aboyom revealed that the MP is currently in discussions with relevant authorities to bring the project to fruition. The total length of the roads to be constructed is approximately 12.93 kilometers.

Mr. Aboyom emphasized that these roads are crucial for the growth of the local economy and hold great significance for the MP. “The construction of these roads will have a positive impact on the lives of residents in the Bolgatanga Central Constituency. It will improve access to essential services and facilitate economic activities in these areas,” he said.

The Communication Officer added that with the MP’s commitment to spearheading the road projects, residents can look forward to improved infrastructure and enhanced economic opportunities in the near future.
