Ghanaian-born musician Samuel Asaa, known by his stage name SamAiam, currently based in California, USA, is calling for increased support for young musical talent in his hometown of Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
In a statement released through his Public Relations Officer, David Azure, SamAiam expressed concern over the lack of institutional and community backing for emerging musicians, noting that many passionate and talented youth struggle to reach their full potential due to limited resources and opportunities.
“Many gifted youth in Bolgatanga and across Ghana lack the support needed to develop their God-given musical talents,” he stated. “In light of this observation, I have begun implementing measures to ensure these gifted individuals succeed in their careers.”
SamAiam is calling on well-meaning Ghanaians, government agencies, music industry stakeholders, and philanthropists to join him in creating a supportive ecosystem that nurtures and empowers emerging musicians.
