Numira Real Estate Company extended a helping hand Friday to people living on the streets of Bolgatanga, distributing food, water, and financial support as part of its first outreach initiative.

CEO Sumaila Inusah and his staff visited three locations in the Upper East Region municipality, where they served meals and drinks to the elderly, youth and children. Some recipients also received cash donations.

Inusah said his daily commute through Bolgatanga exposed him to the struggles of residents without reliable access to food, inspiring the company to act.

“This initiative came from what I see every day,” Inusah said. “Many go without a basic meal, and we wanted to offer some relief.”

The project, entirely funded by Numira Real Estate, is the company’s first community outreach effort. Inusah said he hopes to continue the initiative and eventually collaborate with other individuals and organizations to expand its reach.

He recalled being particularly moved by a young man who had lost a foot and struggles to walk. Inusah said he is seeking additional support for the man to help improve his mobility and prevent further injury.

Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the company for the gesture, which many described as timely and life-saving.
