Northern Ghana’s rich musical heritage is set to take center stage this December as Kacstone Records announces the Adangba Legacy Music Fest, a cross-border cultural celebration featuring legendary musician Michael Adangba.
Scheduled for Dec. 21, 2025, at Paga Town Park in the Upper East Region, the event aims to draw audiences from across Ghana and neighboring Burkina Faso. Organizers say the night will spotlight traditional rhythms, cultural displays, and live performances designed to honor the region’s artistic legacy.
In a statement posted on its official Facebook page, Kacstone Records described the festival as “a celebration of timeless African sound, culture, and passion,” calling on corporate entities, media organizations, development partners and individuals to support the event through sponsorships and collaboration.
“The Adangba Legacy Music Fest is not just about entertainment, it’s about celebrating who we are as a people,” the release said. “It’s a platform to showcase our cultural pride, resilience, and creativity.”
The festival will feature a mix of artists, traditional drumming ensembles, and live-band performances. Organizers say attendees should expect an immersive experience of African rhythm and cultural fusion, with the headline performance by Michael Adangba.
Kacstone Records noted that the festival aims to create cross-border unity through music, offering an evening of cultural showcases and creative expression inspired by northern Ghana’s musical roots.
