Naara Rural Bank PLC has announced a profit of GHC 4,071,154 for the year 2024, representing a 152.07% increase from the GHC 1,641,429 recorded in 2023. The bank’s Board Chairman, Rev. Father Joseph Aseyire Tabase, disclosed this during the bank’s 34th Annual General Meeting in Bolgatanga.

Rev. Fr. Tabase described the bank’s operations as profitable, attributing the growth to expanded income streams, controlled operating expenses, and strengthened risk management and internal controls.

“I am happy to inform you that our bank continues to operate profitably. The bank recorded a profit before tax of GHC 4,071,154 as compared to GHC 1,641,429 posted in 2023 — an increase of 152.07% during the period.”

The Board Chairman expressed optimism about the bank’s future, noting that management will continue to strategically manage investments to maximize shareholders’ wealth despite intense competition in the financial sector.

“We will continue to expand our efforts to grow our income streams, manage our operating expenses, and strengthen risk management and internal control as we grow our revenue and manage risk in the face of fierce competition.”

Rev. Fr. Tabase also expressed gratitude to shareholders, customers, and stakeholders as Naara Rural Bank marks its 45th anniversary on December 18, 2025.

The Managing Director of ARB Apex Bank, Alex Kwasi Awuah, attributed the bank’s performance to hard work and consistency. He also encouraged Naara Rural Bank PLC to enhance risk management and increase non-interest revenue streams by embracing digital transformation.
