Soccer Masters Colts win maiden Jovii Invitational U13 Tournament

Soccer Masters Colts were crowned champions of the maiden edition of the Jovii Invitational Under-13 Tournament after edging Harvest Foundation 2–1 in an entertaining final in Bolgatanga.

Fans were treated to an exciting display of youth football, with both teams showcasing skill, discipline and determination to cap several days of competitive matches involving elite juvenile clubs from the Upper East Region.

The final lived up to expectations, as Soccer Masters Colts held their nerve in a closely contested encounter to secure the title, drawing loud applause from supporters who packed the venue.

Chief Executive Officer of Jovii Enterprise, Naoh Tenzie Joshua, who organized the tournament, praised the quality of football on display and expressed satisfaction with the level of talent among the young players.

“I have really enjoyed watching these young ones. It reminds me of my days as a juvenile player,” he said, adding that plans are underway to expand the competition next year, subject to available resources and support.

The tournament attracted several dignitaries from the football fraternity, including the Municipal Football Association Chairman and national youth team officials.

Among those present were Fatawu Salifu Kiyoyo, National Under-15 Head Coach and Black Satellites assistant coach; Alhaji Ibrahim Dossey of Dreams FC; Peter Asunsua; and Mr. Amos, Chairman of the B.I.G Family.

The competition also featured individual awards to recognize outstanding performances during the tournament.
