The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga East and Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Dr. Dominic Ayine, has reaffirmed his commitment to development and improving livelihoods across the constituency.
Speaking in an interview with A1 Radio, Dr. Ayine said his track record since assuming office demonstrates his dedication to fulfilling campaign promises and responding promptly to the needs of the people.
According to him, his approach to leadership is grounded in action rather than rhetoric.
“They’ve seen how I started. I hit the road running,” Dr. Ayine said. “I was sworn in as MP on Jan. 7, and by late February, I had already initiated the Astroturf project I promised during my campaign launch. Construction has begun, and that shows that when I make promises, I deliver.”
The Astroturf project, currently under construction, is expected to provide a modern recreational facility for the youth, promote sports development and serve as a hub for community engagement.
Dr. Ayine described the project as one of several initiatives aimed at improving social infrastructure in the constituency.
He urged residents to continue to have confidence in his leadership, assuring them that his office remains committed to addressing their concerns and improving the overall welfare of the constituency.
Dr. Ayine stressed that development is a continuous process that requires trust, patience and collaboration between leaders and the people.
On youth development, the attorney general noted that creating opportunities for young people remains a top priority.
“As we move forward, especially with the youth, there will be many opportunities created for them to secure jobs and grow into responsible adults,” he said.
Dr. Ayine’s remarks have been welcomed by many constituents, who see his early interventions as a sign of purposeful leadership.
His assurances reinforce expectations that Bolgatanga East will experience sustained development under his tenure.
